What To Do With Garden Waste Surplus?

What To Do With Garden Waste Surplus?

Do you love gardening? I do! It’s not only relaxing and good for my health but it’s also very rewarding and gratifying. However, there is one aspect of gardening that I find most garden enthusiasts don’t enjoy; that’s trying to get rid of their garden waste surplus.

It’s all well and good to prune, trim, chop and saw away at the dead limbs and foliage to reveal a well-kept garden, but you are then left with a mountain of garden waste and nowhere to put it.

This is actually the reason why I got into the garden waste industry! Before 4 Waste Removals, I started out as “The Easy Gardener” and offered garden bags and large garden bins to rid residents of their garden waste. It has now grown into 4 Waste Removals, offering a full range of waste removals services including skip bins.

But back to garden waste! If you’re finding that you have a garden waste surplus that won’t fit into the council’s small rubbish bin, or that you want to be more environmentally conscious of how your green waste is treated, then you’ve landed on the right page.

Continue reading as I outline your options for garden waste removal.

The downside to this option is that the bin is just 240L in size (the same as your standard wheelie bin) and that it is a fortnightly collection.

A free option for garden waste removal in Brisbane is to take your green waste to your closest resource recovery centre.

The downside to this option is you have to have a waste voucher for green waste disposal to have fees waivered and also, you have to have your own vehicle – a Ute or trailer – to transport your garden waste to the centre.
